Guardian Angel Outreach Ministry
The Guardian Angels Ministry begins with a member of the congregation nominating someone in any of several categories and then making a financial contribution to the program. The person making the nomination will remain anonymous.
The Small Group on Outreach (committee) will review the application and if they determine that the nomination fits the goals of the program, then the contribution made to the nominee will be matched up to $50 per nomination.
The gift will be given in the name of the SJLC Congregation and mailed to the Nominee. The pastor will send a letter to accompany the gift explaining why they were nominated, informing the nominee about our program of activities, how to join, links to our social media, worship times, etc. Members may nominate someone using the electronic form or by paper application available in the Narthex.
Checks should be made out to St John Lutheran Church. This program is operated entirely by SJLC and all funds are given directly to the nominee.
